Last weekend, Tastell Import and Export Limited organized a full team-building trip to Jingdezhen, world-famous as China’s Porcelain Capital. Stepping away from our busy daily work of organic pasta production, export orders and global customer communication, all staff gathered to experience profound traditional ceramic culture, relax and deepen team connections.
Visit Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum, Trace Thousands of Years of Porcelain History
Our first stop was the Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum. Inside the exhibition halls, we admired countless precious porcelain relics spanning multiple dynasties, from delicate ancient blue-and-white porcelain to modern creative ceramic artworks. Professional guides introduced the thousand-year evolution of ceramic craftsmanship, raw material selection, firing techniques and cultural stories behind each piece of porcelain.
Walking among the exhibits, our team members chatted and shared feelings. Warm Group Dinner: Chatting & Laughter Between Colleagues
After finishing the museum tour, we headed to a local characteristic restaurant for a team feast. Surrounded by delicious Jiangxi local dishes, everyone put aside work pressure and chatted freely about daily life, travel plans and interesting stories. The relaxed dining atmosphere broke down the boundaries between departments, enhanced mutual understanding, and built more trust among our sales, production and logistics teams.
Evening Highlight: DIY Hand-Thrown Pottery Experience
The most anticipated session of this trip was the handmade pottery workshop in the evening. Under the guidance of professional ceramic instructors, all team members gathered around pottery wheels to knead clay, shape blanks and create exclusive ceramic works with our own hands.
No one was a professional potter at first—some struggled to center the clay, some made funny irregular cups and plates, and we laughed and helped each other adjust the clay shape. This hands-on creative activity required communication, patience and mutual assistance, just like our cross-departmental collaboration when handling bulk export orders, OEM customization and customs clearance support for overseas clients.
Every handmade ceramic piece carries unique marks of our team’s creativity and joy. We will keep these finished works as special souvenirs to remember this wonderful weekend together.
